Open-Access Principles

The Journal of Engineering Research and Reviews (JERR) is a fully open-access journal committed to providing immediate, unrestricted, and permanent access to all published scholarly content.

All articles published by JERR are freely available online to readers worldwide without subscription fees or other access barriers. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and otherwise use the published material in accordance with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license.

JERR's open-access policy is consistent with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Immediate and Permanent Access

All articles published by JERR are made freely and immediately accessible online upon publication and remain permanently available through the journal's website.

The journal does not impose an embargo period on access to published articles.

Each published article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registered with Crossref, where applicable, to facilitate persistent identification, discoverability, linking, and citation.

Copyright and Licensing

JERR publishes its articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users may share, copy, redistribute, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the published material for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, and any changes made to the original work are indicated.

The applicable license applies to the published article unless otherwise stated.

Author Rights

Authors retain the copyright in their published work, subject to the terms of the publishing agreement and the CC BY 4.0 license under which the article is published.

Authors are encouraged to share and disseminate their published work through institutional repositories, personal websites, academic profiles, and other lawful scholarly communication platforms, provided that the original publication and appropriate citation are acknowledged.

Open-Access Funding and Article Processing Charges

Any Article Processing Charges (APCs), publication fees, or other mandatory charges applicable to authors are clearly stated on the journal's website before manuscript submission.

The ability of an author to pay an APC does not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their scholarly quality, originality, relevance, methodological soundness, and compliance with the journal's editorial and ethical requirements.

No fees are charged to readers for accessing published articles.

Long-Term Availability

JERR is committed to maintaining the long-term accessibility and integrity of its published scholarly record. Published articles are intended to remain permanently accessible through the journal's online platform and, where applicable, through recognized scholarly archiving and preservation services.
